CINDY GERARD

Nativa del Midwest degli Stati Uniti , con più di trenta titoli al suo attivo CINDY GERARD è oggi un'affermatissima scrittrice di romanzi rosa, più volte presente nella classifica dei libri del New York Times.

Dopo gli inizi come autrice per per la collana Bantam's Loveswept e il successivo passaggio alla Silhoutte Desire, negli ultimi anni la Gerard è approdata alla St.Martin's Press per la quale ha iniziato a scrivere 'single titles' lunghi, che le permettono più libertà di espressione e maggiore sviluppo nelle trame. Per la St.Martin's ha ideato l'acclamatissima serie dei Bodyguards, che le ha permesso di farsi conoscere da un più ampio numero di lettori come autrice di romantic suspense di classe.
Oltre ad aver ottenuto quattro nominations ai premi Rita e averne vinto uno nel 2003, la Gerard ha anche ottenuto numerose nominations dalla rivista Romantic Times e ha vinto diversi altri premi letterari negli Stati Uniti.
